How consent works here
On your first visit a banner offers Essential only and Allow all, side by side and equally easy to choose. Until you choose Allow all, no advertising or analytics cookie is set and nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising company. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Choosing Essential only after you had allowed cookies deletes the optional cookies listed below.
Always stored (strictly necessary)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| kn_consent | Browser storage (localStorage) on this site | Remembers whether you chose Essential only or Allow all, so the banner does not reappear on every page | Until you clear your browser data |
Only if you choose Allow all
These are set by this website itself (first-party). They record how you first found us, so that if you send a quote request we know which advertisement or link led to it.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| kn_gclid | The Google Ads click identifier from the link you arrived on | 90 days |
| kn_fbclid | The Facebook or Instagram click identifier from the link you arrived on | 90 days |
| kn_utm | The campaign tags (source, medium, campaign) from the link you arrived on | 90 days |
| kn_ref | The website that linked you to us | 90 days |
| _fbc | The Facebook click identifier in Meta's standard format, so a quote request can be matched to the ad that produced it | 90 days |
Analytics and advertising tags
No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads or Meta Pixel tag is installed on this website at the moment.
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are prepared but switched off. Before either is switched on, we will list its cookies on this page with their real names and durations. Google Analytics would set no cookie until you choose Allow all, and the Meta Pixel would not load at all until then.
For review Re-audit this page whenever a tag is switched on in src/data/analytics.js (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) or added inside a GTM container, or Google Ads is added: confirm each tag's cookies with their real names and durations, and confirm that Google's tag may load before consent with storage denied (Consent Mode advanced) rather than only after Allow all (basic).Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website and the quote form work without any optional cookie.
See the privacy policy for how we use the information itself.
